Cameron has worked with the synthetic optics department for the past two summers developing flexible materials on which long-range plasmons can propagate.
Now on his Masters degree programme he will complete his final year project under the supervision of Andrea di Falco and the rest of the synthetic optics department. The project entails fabricating and characterising a bottom up approach to building epsilon near-zero metamaterials using a blend of silver nanoparticles and silica aerogel.
In his spare time Cameron enjoys playing tennis and Fifa. His greatest achievement to date is being able to eat a 12″ burrito in under 7 minutes and knowing every memorable Simpsons moment seasons 1-15
